The thing is, the game was a very different experience to what we grew up with – Where games like Yuke's' Smackdown series is very much still in the 'Press A for Awesome' mold of instant grappling mechanics and strikes, the developers over at the now-defunct Human Entertainment offered a more scintillating approach – an initial tie-up, which triggers the point which you're allowed to enter the command you want, and the first one to do that wins the tie-up.
